Jamshedpur : Loyola School team wins JRD Tata Inter-School Quiz

UditVani, Jamshedpur: Loyola School emerged as a winner of Annual Inter-School Quiz Competition organised to mark 118^th Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna JRD Tata

 The event organised by the Centre for Excellence saw participation of 19 English medium schools across Jamshedpur. Total 38 students participated in the competition.

While team of Aryan Mishra and Ashwin Raj from Loyola School emerged as a winner, team of DAV Public School, Patelnagar comprising Raman Bhardwaj and Md Shoaib were adjudged First Runners Up. Team of Rajendra Vidyalaya comprising Shaurya Gupta and Zeedan Ismail were Second Runners Up.

Teams of JH Tarapore (Dhatkidih), Little Flower School and SDSM School of Excellence got consolation prizes for reaching the final round.

Ruchi Narendran, Chief Guest of the event gave away prizes to the winners. Addressing the gathering, she congratulated all the participants and praised the enthusiasm of students and teachers. She shared about her interaction with JRD Tata and asserted that legacy of JRD Tata shall be carried forward for the younger generation.

Siddharth Mishra, Chief Marketing & Sales, Tubes Division, Tata Steel was the Quiz Master.

There was a preliminary round for the quiz followed by the finale. The top two winning teams will be taken for a joy ride around Jamshedpur in the helicopter on July 29, 2022.
