
UditVani, Jamshedpur : A delegation of the Swadeshi Jagran Manch (SJM) met with the Governor of Jharkhand, Santosh Gangwar, and extended a formal invitation to attend the upcoming 12th Annual Conference of the Swawlambi Jharkhand Microwelfare Development Centre (SJMDC) in Jamshedpur as the chief guest.
The delegation included All India Co-Environment Head Bande Shankar Singh, Director of SJMDC Ashok Goyal, SJM’s State Publicity Head Amit Mishra, and State Youth Head Pankaj Singh.
During the meeting, the Governor expressed his familiarity with the impactful social initiatives and awareness campaigns being conducted by the Swadeshi Jagran Manch.
He especially lauded the organization’s efforts towards women empowerment by offering low-interest loans to women, calling it a commendable step towards fostering self-reliance among women and eliminating exploitative lending practices from society.
The Governor assured the delegation of his presence at the upcoming conference and appreciated the list provided by the delegation distinguishing between indigenous and foreign products, emphasizing the importance of promoting Swadeshi alternatives.
