UditVani, Jamshedpur : Sanatan Singh’s late equaliser salvaged a 1–1 draw for Gramin Football Academy (GFA) against Adivasi Green Sporting Club (AGSC) in a gritty Premier Division Match No. 17 at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium. Sushil Mardi had given AGSC an early lead in the 12th minute. Despite being down to ten men after goalkeeper Bablu Soren’s 36th-minute red card, GFA held firm and found the net through Sanatan Singh in the 81st. The match saw five bookings and one send-off.
In the Super Division, Shishu Dome Come Club (SDC) edged Andhra Sporting Union 3–2 at Gopal Ground. Ajay Ho’s brace (27’, 75’) proved decisive, while Prasad Murmu (17’) also scored. Andhra’s Yogeshwar Besra and Navin Mardi pulled goals back but couldn’t avoid defeat.
In A Division (Group B), Sidhu-Kanhu Memorial Club (SKMC) beat Sarna.com 2–0 at Armoury Ground with goals from Simol Mardi (30’) and Sandeep Mardi (59’).
Group A action at Tinplate Ground saw Smile and Jharkhand Bayar share points in a 1–1 draw. Mukesh Besra (5’) and Buddheshwar Murmu (65’) were the scorers. The game saw five yellow cards in total.
