Jamshedpur : India Meteorological Department ( IMD) have issued a severe weather alert for various parts of the state, cautioning residents about thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over the next two days.

According to the latest weather report, a trough extends from a cyclonic circulation over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal to southeast Madhya Pradesh, passing through Bihar and Chhattisgarh at 0.9 Km above mean sea level.
Additionally, cyclonic circulations have been observed over south Chhattisgarh and southwest Madhya Pradesh at 1.5 Km above mean sea level.

April 3 : Thunderstorm, lightning, and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) may occur in isolated areas across the southern and central parts of the state. The northwestern and north-central regions may experience wind speed of 30-40 kmph.
April 4 : Thunderstorm, lightning, and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are likely to affect most parts of the state, except the northwestern region.
