Jamshedpur : Pankaj Satija, Executive In-Charge, Ferro Alloys and Minerals Division (FAMD) of Tata Steel has been conferred with the Distinguished Alumnus Award under the category ‘Bhaskar Bhattacharjee Memorial Award’ for the year 2024 by the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
The premier institute gave away the award to Satija for his pioneering contributions to the mining sector.
Expressing gratitude on receiving the award, Pankaj Satija said, “It’s an honour to be recognised by my alma mater. This recognition reinforces the commitment to driving sustainable mining solutions and leveraging technology for a better tomorrow.
