UditVani, Jamshedpur : Police in the Parsudih area have solved the August 5 shooting incident at Kitadih Gwalapatti, in which a man was injured after being shot. Acting swiftly, police arrested three suspects involved in the case and sent them to jail.
City SP said that based on a tip-off, a special team was formed to conduct raids, during which the accused were apprehended.
Police recovered a scooter and a mobile phone used in the crime. Interrogation of the arrested men has revealed crucial information, leading to ongoing raids to nab the absconding accused.
The shooting, which occurred on the evening of August 5, was reportedly triggered by personal enmity, leaving a youth seriously injured and creating an atmosphere of fear in the locality.
Residents have expressed relief following the prompt police action.
Police officials assured that the remaining members of the gang would be arrested soon, and patrols in the area have been intensified to prevent any recurrence of such incidents.
