UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Jamshedpur Super League — the flagship grassroots initiative of Jamshedpur FC — will culminate in a grand award ceremony at the Tata Football Academy (TFA) on November 14, coinciding with Children’s Day.
The event will honour winners across multiple age groups and celebrate champions from the Coaches’ League, Fathers’ League, and Mothers’ League, highlighting the city’s inclusive football culture.
Launched on October 18, 2024, the league was hosted across three venues — Archery Ground, Tinplate Sports Complex, and the JRD Tata Sports Complex Football Turf. It featured five age divisions: U-5, U-7, U-9, U-11, and U-13, giving young footballers a vibrant stage to display their skill and enthusiasm for the sport.
This edition witnessed an impressive participation of 70 teams and 628 players, including 33 grassroots school teams and 37 academy and club teams. In total, 477 matches were played across the categories — from 68 games in U-5 to 120 in U-13 — keeping the city’s football community abuzz with action.
The upcoming ceremony will not only celebrate the league’s top performers but also acknowledge the invaluable contributions of coaches, parents, and organisers who have worked tirelessly to promote football at the grassroots level.
Through initiatives like the Jamshedpur Super League, Jamshedpur FC continues to champion its vision of nurturing the next generation of footballers through structured, community-driven development.
