
UditVani, Jamshedpur : In a key administrative reshuffle, Nelson Eyon Bage has been appointed as the Divisional Commissioner of Kolhan, one of the prominent divisions of Jharkhand.
The decision was officially communicated by the state government earlier today.
Nelson Eyon, a seasoned officer with extensive experience in administration and governance, is expected to oversee the development, coordination, and implementation of government schemes across the Kolhan division, which comprises districts such as East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan.
Officials said that under his leadership, there will be a focus on accelerating regional development, improving administrative efficiency, and strengthening coordination between district authorities.
Eyon’s tenure is anticipated to bring a renewed emphasis on public welfare programs, infrastructure development, and effective governance in the region.
State government sources highlighted that this move is part of a broader effort to strengthen administration in key divisions of Jharkhand and ensure closer supervision of developmental initiatives.
