
UditVani,Jamshedpur : In a tragic incident on Saturday morning, a 31-year-old woman was found dead in an air-conditioned coach of the Ernakulam–Tata Express at Tatanagar railway station.
The deceased has been identified as Anjali Mardi, a resident of Mahulia in Ghatshila, East Singhbhum district. She was married and had been working in Andhra Pradesh. While returning home, her health reportedly deteriorated suddenly during the journey.
Railway authorities suspect that the death may have been caused by a sudden illness. The Railway Protection Force and GRP quickly recovered the body, completed the necessary formalities, and sent it for post-mortem.
Police questioned passengers traveling in the same coach, but no one could provide details about the incident. The body was deboarded at Tatanagar station, and the family has been informed. As of now, none of her relatives have reached the station.
The incident has caused shock and concern among fellow passengers. Railway authorities are investigating to determine whether the death was solely due to illness or if other factors played a role.
