The move has led to cancellations, rescheduling, diversions, and partial curtailment of several trains over the coming days.

Short-Terminated/Short-Originating Services
Asansol–Tatanagar MEMU (68055) to terminate at Adra; services between Asansol–Adra cancelled.
Bhagalpur–Howrah MEMU Express (13503/13504) to originate/terminate at Gomoh (GMO); service between GMO–Howrah cancelled.
Jajpur–Dhanbad Express (18019/18020) to originate/terminate at Bokaro Steel City (BKSC); service between BKSC–Dhanbad cancelled.
Asansol–Burnpur MEMU (68060) to originate from Adra; services between Asansol–Adra cancelled.
Rescheduled Services
Buxar–Tatanagar Express (18184) to depart from Buxar 90 minutes late on September 12 and 14.
Howrah–Kharagpur Express (18036) to leave Howrah two hours late on September 9.
Diverted Service
Tatanagar–Howrah Express (18601) to run via Chandil–Gidabir–Muri instead of Chandil–Purulia–Kasai–Muri on September 9, 10 and 13.
Railway authorities have urged passengers to check updated train schedules through the official website or at local stations before commencing their journey.
The rolling block, officials explained, is necessary for carrying out long-pending track maintenance work in the Adra division.
Passengers have been requested to cooperate and exercise patience during this period of temporary inconvenience.
