Monsoon Movement & Weather Systems:
The northern limit of monsoon currently extends through parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab — including Barmer, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra, and Karnal — signaling a slow but steady advance.
Two major synoptic systems are influencing the weather over eastern India:
1. An upper air cyclonic circulation over northeast Madhya Pradesh persists up to 5.8 km altitude and is tilting southward with height.
2. A stronger cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Odisha–West Bengal coasts extends up to 7.6 km and is tilting southwestward.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area is expected to form within 24 hours, further enhancing rainfall activity over Jharkhand and neighboring states.
Precautionary Note:
Residents, especially in vulnerable and low-lying regions, are urged to stay updated with local weather alerts. Commuters and farmers should make informed decisions and remain cautious in view of the expected thunderstorm and gusty winds.
