Uditvani, Jharkhand: The state is set to experience a mix of scorching heat and unstable weather conditions over the coming days, according to the latest meteorological updates.
On April 24, heat wave conditions are likely to occur at isolated places over the southern parts of the state.
From April 25 to 26, the heat wave conditions are expected to persist in the south.
In addition, on April 26, thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty winds (30-40 kmph) are likely at isolated locations in the north-eastern and south-eastern regions of the state.
The weather is predicted to intensify on April 27, with thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms expected in isolated places over north-eastern and adjoining central areas.
Simultaneously, southern and central regions may also face thunderstorms with gusty winds reaching speeds of 40-50 Kmph.
Meteorologists note that there will be no significant change in maximum temperatures for the next four days.
However, a gradual fall of 3 to 5°C is anticipated over the following three days.
These weather developments are attributed to an upper air cyclonic circulation, now located over east Bihar, and a north-south trough extending from north Chhattisgarh to the Gulf of Mannar, affecting regions including Vidarbha, Telangana, Interior Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
Residents are advised to stay updated and take necessary precautions, especially in regions likely to be affected by extreme weather conditions.
