
Udit Vani Jamshedpur: The Science Club of D.B.M.S. College of Education, Kadma, celebrated National Science Day with enthusiasm and academic spirit, commemorating the discovery of the Raman Effect by eminent Indian physicist C. V. Raman on February 28, 1928. The discovery earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930, making him the first Asian to receive the prestigious award in the sciences.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. A series of engaging and knowledge-driven activities were organized for B.Ed. trainees to instill scientific temper among future educators.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Juhi Samaptiya emphasized the pivotal role of science in everyday life. She urged aspiring teachers to nurture a scientific outlook among students and highlighted the urgent need to promote scientific awareness in society.
Vice-Principal Dr. Monika Uppal underlined the vital contribution of science and technology toward building a developed India (Viksit Bharat). She noted that the nation is advancing rapidly through developments in information and technology, paving the way for a progressive and modern society.
The program was efficiently anchored by Amrita and Manpreet, while Pratyaksha delivered the vote of thanks. Assistant Professor Neha Bharti and Amrita Chaurasia played key roles in coordinating the event.
The celebration was attended by College Secretary Smt. Priya Ramakrishnan, Co-Secretary Surabhi Dileep, along with faculty members, staff, and students.
The vibrant observance not only honored the legacy of Sir C.V. Raman but also inspired future teachers to integrate scientific thinking into education and contribute toward building a scientifically aware and progressive India.
