
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) convened its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on February 17, bringing together senior industry leaders and representatives from prominent corporate and institutional organisations in the city.
The meeting was chaired by JMA President Chaitanya Bhanu, who also serves as Vice President, Jamshedpur Operations at Tata Steel.
The gathering began with a heartfelt acknowledgment of the contributions made by two outgoing Executive Board members – Sunil Tiwari of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle division and Colonel Manas Kundu of the Indian Army.
Both members are relocating from the city following new professional assignments.
The Association placed on record its sincere appreciation for their dedicated service and leadership during their tenure.
Following their departure, elections were conducted to fill the vacant positions on the Executive Board.
Atul Bhatnagar, Managing Director of Tata Steel Utilities Infrastructure Services Limited, and Anurag Chharia, Plant Head – Jamshedpur, Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle, were unanimously elected as new members of the Board.
Welcoming the newly inducted members, Bhanu highlighted the significance of collaborative leadership and knowledge exchange among organisations in strengthening JMA’s standing as a premier platform for management excellence and professional development in the region.
The meeting concluded on a celebratory note with a group photograph of the Executive Board and managing team, marking the Association’s recent achievement of winning the prestigious AIMA Award, conferred by the All India Management Association, recognising JMA’s outstanding contribution to the management fraternity at the national level.
