अंसारी ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा सबसे बड़ी प्राथमिकता है. जब राज्य का स्वास्थ्य विभाग आईएएस और आईपीएस अधिकारियों को समुचित चिकित्सा सुविधा उपलब्ध कराता है, तो मंत्रियों, विधायकों और पूर्व विधायकों को भी उसी स्तर की व्यवस्था मिलनी चाहिए.

According to recent estimates by McKinsey & Company, the world could face a shortfall of at least 10 million healthcare professionals by 2030.

With healthcare systems confronting structural workforce gaps and rising operational costs, the need for leaders who possess strategic, financial and technological expertise has become increasingly urgent.

Industry projections also indicate that the global healthcare staffing market, valued at about USD 41.7 billion in 2023, could grow to nearly USD 74.2 billion by 2032.

This rapid expansion underscores the growing demand for executives capable of building resilient, ethical and scalable healthcare organizations.

The programme has been specially designed for hospital owners, senior clinicians, MedTech executives and policymakers, and focuses on five key pillars of contemporary healthcare leadership — strategy, finance, governance, technology and ethics.

Participants will learn how to formulate strategy in a dynamic global environment, manage financial performance, integrate ESG-based governance, align digital transformation with organizational goals and address ethical challenges within large healthcare ecosystems.

Santosh Sangem, Assistant Professor and Convenor of International Relations at XLRI, said that healthcare leadership today requires strategic clarity, financial judgment and the ability to mobilize technology for measurable patient outcomes.

He noted that the collaboration with Sorbonne Business School would enable professionals to operate with a global perspective and stronger leadership capabilities.

The programme will run for 10 months and includes 11 modules covering areas such as effective decision making, strategic direction and technology strategy.

It will be delivered through a Direct-to-Device learning platform that allows participants to attend live lectures, case discussions and simulations without interrupting their professional commitments.

A five-day on-campus immersion will also be held at the XLRI Delhi campus, where participants will take part in intensive workshops and networking sessions with peers and faculty.

On successful completion of the programme, participants will receive dual certification from XLRI – Xavier School of Management and IAE Paris – Sorbonne Business School, along with the prestigious XLRI Executive Education Alumni status.

The programme is open to graduates and postgraduates with at least 10 years of professional experience.

However, recognising the distinct career trajectories in medicine, the minimum experience requirement has been relaxed to five years for doctors, senior clinicians and hospital owners.
