UditVani, Jamshedpur : The election rules for the Tata Motors Workers Union were officially published today, alongside an area-wise list designating 85 committee members responsible for overseeing the elections in 50 constituencies across the Jamshedpur plant.
According to the rules, the largest number of committee members will be stationed at the World Truck Assembly Line, with six members assigned to oversee this area. The first assembly line, second assembly line, and frame shop will each have four committee members. Additionally, three constituencies will have three committee members, 15 constituencies will elect two committee members each, and 28 constituencies will have one committee member each.
Chidanand Khandai, the Chief Electoral Officer for the union election, confirmed that a total of 85 committee members will be elected across the 50 areas, with the rules posted on the official notice board for transparency.
The union elections, which will determine 85 committee members and 25 office bearers, are scheduled to take place on November 26 at the Tata Motors plant premises in Jamshedpur.
The publication of the election rules marks a key step towards ensuring a fair and organized election process for the Tata Motors Workers Union.
