
Jamshedpur : XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, and the Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) have signed a strategic MoU to revolutionize quality management education in India.
The partnership aims to blend academic rigor with real-world industry practices, focusing on curriculum enrichment, practical training, and research collaboration.
Starting June 2025, the initiative will introduce electives in quality management for XLRI’s postgraduate students, featuring live projects, industrial visits, and expert-led sessions. Faculty from XLRI and practitioners from IFQM will jointly design and deliver the courses.
At the MoU signing event, XLRI Director Fr. Sebastian George emphasized outcome-oriented collaboration, calling the agreement the “zero step” toward impactful action. The ceremony saw participation from senior IFQM leaders, Tata Steel executives, and XLRI faculty, concluding with a campus tour and a shared commitment to driving excellence in Indian enterprises, including MSMEs.
