
UditVani, Jamshedpur : The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) marked the beginning of its 2025–27 session on Tuesday with a spirited ceremony, as newly elected office bearers and executive committee members officially took charge following the recent elections.
The inaugural meeting, graced by former presidents Muralidhar Kedia and G.R. Golcha, began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony led by president Manav Kedia and past office bearers—symbolizing a new chapter of unity, growth, and shared purpose for the Chamber.
In his address, president Manav Kedia highlighted SCCI’s enduring tradition of seamless leadership transitions, referring to the smooth handover during the 74th General Meeting held in September. He called upon the new team to uphold the Chamber’s legacy, safeguard its dignity, and work collectively to address the evolving challenges faced by traders and entrepreneurs in the region.
Outgoing president Vijay Anand Moonka extended his congratulations to the new leadership, emphasizing their prior contributions to the Chamber’s initiatives. He expressed confidence in their ability to build on ongoing projects and assured them of his full support whenever needed.
Former presidents Muralidhar Kedia and G.R. Golcha underscored the Chamber’s strong foundation of unity among business leaders and expressed optimism that the new team would continue to strengthen the local trade ecosystem.
Adityapur Small Industries Association (ASIA) president Inder Agarwal also congratulated the newly appointed office bearers and pledged collaborative support.
The session drew a large gathering of traders, entrepreneurs, and industry stalwarts, reflecting the Chamber’s pivotal role in promoting a cohesive and dynamic business environment in Singhbhum.
