This ambitious scheme promises to remove financial barriers in medical treatment by providing an annual health insurance coverage of up to ₹15 lakh to every eligible household in the state.
The initiative is set to benefit over 65 lakh families across Jharkhand. This includes all families possessing red, yellow, and green ration cards, making the scheme widely accessible to those who are economically and socially disadvantaged.

Speaking about the initiative, Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized that lack of money should never become an obstacle in seeking treatment. “This scheme reflects our government’s commitment to providing healthcare as a basic right, not a privilege,” he said.
The scheme is expected to significantly reduce the financial burden of medical expenses on low and middle-income families, while also strengthening the overall health infrastructure of Jharkhand.

The state government is urging all eligible citizens to register as early as possible to avail the benefits of this transformative scheme.
