UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jharkhand is expected to experience light rain and thundershowers in some parts of its eastern and adjoining central regions on Friday, while dry weather is likely to prevail in most other areas, according to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
From November 2 to 6, the state is set to witness a dry spell, marked by shallow to moderate fog or mist in the mornings and mainly clear skies later in the day, the IMD bulletin added.
The department reported that the well-marked low-pressure area, a remnant of the Severe Cyclonic Storm “Montha”, which had been hovering over central Chhattisgarh, moved north-northeastwards and lay over northwest Jharkhand.
The system is expected to continue its movement toward Bihar and weaken further.
With the weakening of the weather system, pleasant and dry conditions are expected to return across Jharkhand from tomorrow onwards.
