
UditVani, Jamshedpur : Dry weather conditions continued to prevail across Jharkhand, with no significant synoptic system influencing the state, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Westerly to north-westerly winds are dominating the lower tropospheric levels, maintaining stable atmospheric conditions.
As per the Realised Weather Report issued by the Meteorological Centre at Birsa Munda Airport, Ranchi, dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 33.2°C was recorded at Chaibasa (PTO), while the lowest minimum temperature dipped to 8.1°C at Gumla.
Among key observatories, Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 26.4°C and a minimum of 10.0°C.
Jamshedpur reported 30.8°C as the maximum and 13.2°C as the minimum temperature.
Daltonganj registered a high of 31.0°C and a low of 9.6°C, while Bokaro Thermal recorded 29.1°C and 11.1°C respectively.
Chaibasa remained one of the warmer locations with a maximum of 32.8°C and a minimum of 12.4°C.
No rainfall was recorded at any station in the past 24 hours.
The lowest visibility of 2000 metres was observed at Ranchi.
Data from Automated Weather Stations (AWS) indicated notable readings across districts. Bokaro AWS recorded 28.3°C as the maximum and 9.8°C as the minimum temperature.
Baharagora in East Singhbhum registered 31.6°C as the day’s high. Gumla AWS reported the lowest minimum temperature at 8.3°C. Saraikela also witnessed a relatively higher maximum of 31.6°C. Rainfall remained nil across all AWS stations.
The forecast for February 13, 14, 15 and 16 indicates mist during the morning hours followed by mainly clear skies later in the day.
Dry weather is most likely to persist across the state during this period.
With no significant weather system developing over Jharkhand, stable and dry conditions are expected to continue, accompanied by cool mornings and relatively warm afternoons over the next few days.
