Jamshedpur : Motilal Nehru Public School successfully organized its 26th Annual Blood Donation Camp this morning, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to community service.
The event was inaugurated by Sanjay Chowdhury, a dedicated voluntary donor and a key contributor to the Jamshedpur Blood Centre.
A total of 100 units of blood were collected during the camp, with the process being overseen by a team of doctors from Jamshedpur Blood Bank under the guidance of Dr. Nirjala Jha, Medical Officer, Jamshedpur Blood Bank.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and support from the school management, faculty members, students, and parents. The school cabinet played an instrumental role in organizing the camp efficiently.
Sanjay Chowdhury applauded the school’s efforts and stressed the importance of student involvement in community welfare, particularly in light of rising cancer cases.
Akhilesh Dubey, chairman of the school managing committee, congratulated all blood donors and praised the school’s consistent engagement in such noble causes.
D.P. Shukla, honorary secretary of the committee, also lauded the collective effort.
Teachers Moli Deb, Bindu Ahuja, Subroto Biswas, and Shrishendu Biswas, alongside students and school alumni, played key roles in making the event a success.
The unwavering support of Principal Sangeeta Singh and vice principals ensured the camp was conducted smoothly, reinforcing the school’s legacy of social responsibility.
Auric Deb and Unnati Shukla of class 12A compered the program, while Aniket Das of 12A delivered the vote of thanks.
The event was graced by several committee members and UP Sangh representatives, marking another successful chapter in the school’s legacy of service.
