इन घटनाओं के बाद पूरे जिले में शोक की लहर है और प्रभावित परिवारों में कोहराम मचा हुआ है. पहली घटना मेराल पंचायत के जेहरा गांव में हुई. जानकारी के अनुसार, संजय भुइयां की दो पत्नियां, पूनम देवी और कल्याणी देवी (जो आपस में सगी बहनें भी थीं), अपने घर के आंगन में दैनिक कार्यों में जुटी थीं.

इसी दौरान अचानक तेज गर्जना के साथ बिजली गिरी, जिसकी चपेट में आने से दोनों बहनों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई. एक साथ दो पत्नियों को खोने से संजय भुइयां का पूरा संसार उजड़ गया है. गांव के लोग इस दोहरी त्रासदी से स्तब्ध हैं. दूसरी घटना पत्थलगड़ा के ही सिंघानी गांव की है, जहां आकाशीय बिजली गिरने से शमा परवीन नामक महिला की मौत हो गई.

बताया जा रहा है कि शमा अपने परिजनों के साथ बंदरचुम्मा पाही स्थित घर के पास महुआ चुन रही थी, तभी वह वज्रपात की चपेट में आ गई. इस हादसे में 50 वर्षीय जैबुन निशा और एक 10 वर्षीय बच्ची भी गंभीर रूप से झुलस गई हैं. ईद के त्योहार से ठीक पहले हुए इस हादसे ने इस परिवार की खुशियों को मातम में बदल दिया है. घायलों को तत्काल स्थानीय अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जहां उनकी स्थिति गंभीर बनी हुई है.

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पत्थलगड़ा अंचल अधिकारी उदल राम और पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और स्थिति का जायजा लिया. प्रशासन ने शवों को कब्जे में लेकर कागजी प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है. इधर, शोकाकुल ग्रामीणों ने जिला प्रशासन से प्रभावित परिवारों के लिए तत्काल उचित मुआवजे की मांग की है. अधिकारियों ने आश्वासन दिया है कि सरकारी प्रावधानों के तहत आपदा राहत कोष से पीड़ित परिवारों को जल्द से जल्द आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी.

These systems are collectively fueling atmospheric instability and moisture incursion, triggering widespread thunderstorm activity.

Residents are advised to stay alert, avoid open spaces during lightning strikes, and take necessary precautions as weather conditions may change rapidly through the day.

The southwest monsoon is expected to linger over Jharkhand for the next few days, with the recent depression over the region contributing to the extended stay of monsoon across the state.

The victims were identified as Prabhash Singh (45), a farmer, and Chakradhar Mahato (44), a daily wage labourer. The incident has left the entire village in mourning.

Sources said the duo had finished work in a cauliflower field and were having lunch with two other workers under a neem tree when lightning struck.

Singh and Mahato died instantly, while the other two escaped without injuries.

Villagers rushed to the scene and took the victims to Chirudih Nursing Home, where doctors confirmed their deaths. Soon after, Bodam police reached the spot, seized the bodies, and sent them to MGM Medical College for post-mortem examination.

The sudden deaths triggered scenes of grief, with family members and villagers wailing inconsolably. Residents have demanded immediate compensation and support for the bereaved families. They also emphasized the need for greater awareness and preventive measures to avoid such tragedies in the future.

रांची मौसम केंद्र के मौसम वैज्ञानिक अभिषेक आनंद ने सोमवार को समाचार एजेंसी आईएएनएस से बातचीत में बताया कि बंगाल की खाड़ी में दो चक्रवाती परिसंचरण सक्रिय हैं, एक दक्षिण-पूर्व बंगाल की खाड़ी में और दूसरा उत्तर-पूर्व बांग्लादेश के आसपास. इससे झारखंड में नमी बढ़ रही है, जिसके चलते हल्की से मध्यम बारिश हो रही है. कुछ क्षेत्रों में भारी से अति भारी बारिश की संभावना है.

उन्होंने कहा कि सोमवार को दुमका, देवघर, जामताड़ा, धनबाद और गिरिडीह में भारी से अति भारी बारिश के लिए ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी है, जबकि गोड्डा, साहिबगंज, पाकुड़, कोडरमा, हजारीबाग, रामगढ़, रांची समेत अन्य क्षेत्रों के लिए येलो अलर्ट है. वहीं, मंगलवार को हजारीबाग, चतरा, लातेहार, कोडरमा, गिरिडीह, बोकारो, रामगढ़, रांची, गढ़वा और पलामू के कुछ हिस्सों में भारी से अति भारी बारिश की संभावना है.

इसके अलावा, उन्होंने 15 और 16 सितंबर को निचले इलाकों में जलजमाव और कच्चे या टीन के मकानों को नुकसान होने की आशंका जताई. उन्होंने दावा किया कि अगले पांच दिनों तक गर्जन और 30-40 किमी/घंटा की हवा की गति की चेतावनी है.

अभिषेक आनंद ने आगे कहा कि 17 और 18 सितंबर को उत्तर-पश्चिम और उत्तरी झारखंड के कुछ हिस्सों में भारी बारिश हो सकती है. उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि 17 सितंबर से बारिश में कमी आएगी और 20 सितंबर से मौसम में सुधार होगा.

Meanwhile, the Southwest Monsoon has started its withdrawal from parts of West Rajasthan, three days earlier than the normal date of September 17.

The withdrawal line currently passes through Sri Ganganagar, Nagaur, Jodhpur, and Barmer. Conditions are favourable for further withdrawal from more parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, and Gujarat in the next 2–3 days.

According to IMD, a low-pressure area over north Telangana and adjoining Vidarbha persists, with an associated cyclonic circulation up to 4.5 Km above mean sea level.

It is likely to move west-northwestwards towards central Vidarbha and later shift northwards. In addition, a trough in westerlies runs along longitude 84°E, north of latitude 23°N, while an upper air cyclonic circulation persists over the southeast Bay of Bengal between 3.1 and 5.8 Km above mean sea level.

Meteorologists have predicted that this system will gradually move in a west-northwestward direction across north Odisha, adjoining Jharkhand, and north Chhattisgarh over the next 24 hours.

The monsoon trough at mean sea level also remains active. It currently stretches from Bikaner through Jaipur, Damoh, Pendra Road, Sambalpur, passing through the centre of the low-pressure system over the northwest Bay of Bengal, and further southeastwards into the east-central Bay of Bengal.

This alignment is expected to enhance rainfall activity in the region.

Weather experts suggest that Jharkhand may witness moderate to heavy showers at a few locations alongwith thunderstorm activity, which could temporarily disrupt road travel, power supply, and outdoor work.

The gusty winds associated with the system may also affect standing crops and cause minor damage to weak structures.

The IMD has advised people to remain alert, avoid open areas during lightning, and take necessary precautions.

Farmers have also been urged to plan agricultural operations carefully in view of the expected rainfall and windy conditions.

Cause of Disturbance
The IMD said the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal persisted at 08.30 am today, with an associated cyclonic circulation extending up to 7.6 km above mean sea level and tilting southwestward with height. The system is likely to move slowly west-northwestwards across Odisha in the next 24 hours.

The monsoon trough is currently passing through Bikaner, Banasthali, Damoh, Pendra Road, the centre of the well-marked low-pressure area, and further southeast into the east-central Bay of Bengal.

Rainfall Statistics
Jharkhand has recorded 1004.5 mm of rainfall between June 1 and August 27, against a normal of 768.5 mm, which is a 31% surplus.

Excess rainfall has been reported in districts like East Singhbhum (+81%), Seraikela-Kharsawan (+71%), Ranchi (+62%), and Latehar (+57%).

Deficient rainfall has been noted in Deoghar (-5%) and Pakur (-16%), while other districts remain close to normal levels.

Advisory
The Meteorological Centre has advised residents to remain cautious, especially in low-lying and flood-prone areas, as heavy rain may lead to waterlogging and disruption of normal life.

People have also been urged to take precautions against lightning and gusty winds.

घटना के बाद महिला गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई. परिजनों ने तुरंत उन्हें वाहन की व्यवस्था कर दोपहर करीब 3 बजे एमजीएम अस्पताल डिमना पहुंचाया. वहां इलाज के दौरान शाम 4 बजे डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया.

परिवार में पसरा मातम
गुणी सिंह सरदार अपने पीछे 12 वर्षीय बेटे धीरेन सिंह और 8 वर्षीय बेटी नमिता सिंह को छोड़ गई हैं. पति निमाई सिंह ने बताया कि हादसे के समय पत्नी खेत में पूरी तरह व्यस्त थी और अचानक गिरी बिजली ने सब कुछ बदल दिया.

पोस्टमार्टम के बाद अंतिम संस्कार
परिजनों ने जानकारी दी कि बुधवार को मृतका का पोस्टमार्टम कराए जाने के बाद अंतिम संस्कार किया जाएगा.
