UditVani, Jamshedpur : Jamshedpur FC forward Javier Siverio made a special appearance at the Annual Sports Day at DAV Bistupur, where he encouraged young students to embrace sports as a way of life.
The Spanish striker emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance in shaping a strong sporting culture among children.
Siverio congratulated the winners across various sports disciplines and awarded them their medals. He expressed his excitement at witnessing young kids putting in their best efforts on the field and was particularly moved by their creative expressions. Several students had created paintings showcasing their admiration for The Men of Steel, alongside slogans to support and cheer for the team.
The presence of Siverio thrilled the fans, who took selfies and collected autographs from the Jamshedpur FC star. The event also featured a Santhali dance performance by little children, which deeply impressed Siverio as it represented the rich cultural heritage of Jharkhand.
Speaking at the event, Siverio urged everyone to come and support Jamshedpur FC in their upcoming match against FC Goa.
“The energy and passion I saw today were amazing! I invite all of you to bring that same enthusiasm to our game against FC Goa. Your support means everything to us, and we want to see you at the stadium, cheering us on,” he said.
