UditVani, Jamshedpur : Heerangamba Seram’s brilliant brace powered Jamshedpur FC to a commanding 4-0 victory over Inter Kashi in the Under-17 Elite League at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here on Monday.
This victory marks Jamshedpur FC’s fourth consecutive win in the tournament, solidifying their top position in Group K with a tally of 12 points.
Despite dominating the match from the outset, it took Jamshedpur FC 38 minutes to break the deadlock. Seram slotted in a precise cross from Soumik to open the scoring. Just before the halftime whistle, Satyajit doubled the lead in the 45th minute. The first half also saw Jamshedpur FC narrowly miss several chances, with the woodwork denying them on at least three occasions.
In the second half, Jamshedpur picked up where they left off, wasting no time to extend their lead.
A brilliant interplay between Seram and Zuala resulted in Seram netting his second goal. The home side sealed the victory in the 57th minute when Zuala scored a stunning free-kick from just outside the box.
In the next match, Jamshedpur FC youth team will face Odisha at JRD Tata Sports Complex on January 30.
