UditVani, Jamshedpur : It was a goal-fest in the Premier Division as Classic Eight Football Club (Narwa) demolished Adivasi Green Sporting Club 7-2 at the Telco Ground. Strikers Gaurav Mukhi and Dharam Hembrom stole the spotlight, each scoring a hat-trick. Mukhi struck in the 13th, 48th, and 49th minutes while Hembrom found the net in the 43rd, 64th, and 66th minutes. Jaypal Sirka added his name to the scoresheet in the 56th minute.
For AGSC, Jamaram Hansda gave a fighting performance with a brace in the 7th and 25th minutes, but the team could not stand up to Classic Eight’s attacking force.
A Division (Group A) – Armoury Ground
At Armoury Ground, Gram Vikas Kendra secured a 2-0 victory over Adivasi Development and Welfare Association. Ugram Soren broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute, and within three minutes of the restart, Bishwanath Mahali doubled the lead to seal an assured win.
A Division (Group A) – Tinplate Sports Complex
Mohammed Sporting Club put in a dominating display against Vision Apex at Tinplate Ground, winning 4-0. Nadeem Akhtar was in sublime form, netting a brilliant hat-trick (48’, 61’, 69’), while Sunarm Murmu added another in the 64th minute to complete the rout.
