UditVani, Jamshedpur : Eastern Railway (ER) has decided to provide experimental stoppages of 10 important trains at different stations under its jurisdiction. The new stoppages will come into effect from September 15, 2025.
According to the notification, trains such as SMVT Bengaluru–Bhagalpur Anga Express, Ranchi–Bhagalpur Vande Bharat, Tatanagar–Godda Express, Godda–Ranchi Express and Ranchi–Godda Express will now have halts at Sultanganj, Dharhara, Shivnarayanpur and Dhauni stations.
The move is aimed at providing greater convenience to passengers of Bhagalpur, Munger and Godda regions.
Railway officials said the stoppages are experimental and will be reviewed based on passengers response.
