UditVani, NewsDesk: Varun Tomar of the Indian Army emerged as the national shooting champion by clinching the gold medal in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol event at the 67th National Shooting Championship 2024, held this morning at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi. Fellow Army shooter Pradhyumn Singh secured the silver medal, while Aakash Bhardwaj of Rajasthan took home the bronze.
In the Men’s Junior 10m Air Pistol event, Varun Tomar continued his stellar performance by securing another gold medal, with Nikhil from Uttar Pradesh claiming silver and Pradhyumn Singh adding a bronze to his tally.
The Men’s Youth 10m Air Pistol event saw Chirag Sharma from Uttar Pradesh clinching the gold medal, while his teammate Dev Pratap won silver. Mayank Choudhary from Rajasthan rounded off the podium with a bronze.
The championship witnessed intense competition across categories, highlighting the exceptional talent and skill in India’s shooting circuit.
