IMD Ranchi Meteorological Centre’s prediction indicated gradual rise
in minimum temperature by (2-3)°C in next 24 hours, thereafter gradual fall by (2-4)°C
in subsequent three days.
The Western Disturbance was today seen as a trough between 3.1 Km and 12.6 Km
above mean sea level with its axis at 3.1 Km.
A trough was also running from north Punjab to west central Arabian Sea across the induced cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan and adjoining southeast Rajasthan at 1.5 Km above mean sea level
Ranchi today recorded a minimum temperature of 10.4 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur, Bokaro and Daltonganj today recorded minimum temperatures of around 11 degree Celsius.
Met statistics revealed that Chatra today recorded a minimum temperature of 10.4 degree Celsius while Garhwa recorded 10.6 degrees celsius.
Gumla and Hazaribagh recorded around 8.5 degree Celsius today while neighbouring Khunti recorded 8.6 degree Celsius.
Pakur was a bit warmer at 13.7 degree Celsius. Lohardaga and adjoining Seraikela recorded night reading of around 11 degree Celsius today.
