UditVani, Jamshedpur: IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre issued an alert of thunderstorm and lightning in southern and central parts of Jharkhand around this mid-week.
According to weathermen, Jharkhand is under a high pressure gradient due to a transition phase and this is likely to result in thunderstorm and lightning especially in Southern and Central parts of Jharkhand on Wednesday and Thursday.
The minimum temperature is also expected to witness 2-3 degree Celsius rise across Jharkhand in the next two days.
The fluctuating wind pattern has resulted in a rise in minimum temperature across Jharkhand.
Ranchi today recorded and minimum temperature of 15.6 degree Celsius while Jamshedpur recorded 15.5 and Daltonganj recorded 13.8 degrees.
According to statistics, Chatra recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 11.8 degree Celsius today.
Devghar recorded 14.3 degrees while Dhanbad recorded 15 degrees and Garhwa recorded 12.6 degree Celsius.
Bahragora in East Singhbhum recorded minimum temperature of 18.4 degree Celsius today.
