Several places especially those in southern and eastern region of Jharkhand is likely to experience thunderstorm and rain in the next 24-hours.
IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted thunderstorm and lightning accompanied with gusty wind (max wind speed: 40-50 kmph) likely at isolated places
over southern and eastern parts of the state on Saturday .
On Sunday thunderstorm and lightning is likely at isolated places over southern and central parts of the state.
Meanwhile , the Western Disturbance is now seen as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan between 3.1 & 4.5 km above mean sea level with a trough aloft in middle &
upper tropospheric level with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 70°E to the north of Lat. 30°N.
Satellite images also indicated an induced cyclonic circulation over West Rajasthan
extending upto 1.5 Km above mean sea level.
The trough from Gangetic West Bengal to Telangana was running from north Bangladesh to Telangana across Gangetic West Bengal, interior Odisha and south Chhattisgarh extending upto 1.5 Km above mean sea level
Met statistics revealed that both the maximum and minimum temperatures witnessed a gradual rise during the past 24- hours.
