Uditvani, Jamshedpur: Ritvik Mehta, an alumnus of Loyola School, Jamshedpur, and son of Priyanka Verma, publisher of Spardha Prakashan, has made steel city and Jharkhand proud by securing an All India Rank of 115 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, results of which were announced on Tuesday.
He is now set to become an IAS officer and serve the nation.
Ritvik completed his early education at Loyola School and went on to graduate in Geography from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. He prepared for the UPSC examinations from Delhi.
Currently Undergoing IPS Training:
Prior to this, Ritvik was selected for the Indian Police Service (IPS) through the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023. He is presently undergoing training as an IPS probationer at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
The UPSC exam is considered one of the toughest in India, with lakhs of aspirants competing every year.
Ritvik credited his success to Spardha Prakashan’s study materials, the unwavering support of his mother Priyanka Verma, and the guidance of his father Ajay Kumar, a former forest range officer and director at Spardha Prakashan.
Ritvik’s younger brother, Vedant Mehta, also achieved an All India Rank of 29 in the NDA examination conducted by UPSC and is currently serving as a Captain in the Indian Army, posted at Ambala Cantonment.
