Uditvani, Jamshedpur: The campus of Loyola School, Telco, shimmered with pride, passion, and purpose on Friday as it hosted its 5th Annual Prize Nite 2024–25—an evening dedicated to celebrating achievement, character, and the vibrant spirit of the Loyolean community.
The event honored students for their academic brilliance, cultural talents, leadership, and holistic growth.
The evening commenced with a grand academic procession led by the chief guest, Aniket Sachan, IAS (ADM Law & Order and Deputy Development Commissioner), accompanied by principal Charanjeet Ohson, Fr. Gerry D’Souza (Administrator & Treasurer), Fr. Vinod Fernandes (Principal, Loyola Bistupur), Fr. Pius Fernandes, and the Head Boy and Head Girl, Lakshya Verma and Nirja Tewari, alongside awardees from Nursery to Class IX.
Chief guest Sachan, an IIT (BHU) alumnus and a distinguished IAS officer, delivered an inspiring keynote address.
He urged students to “stay focused, be resilient, and never underestimate the power of discipline,” encouraging them to pursue their dreams with courage and clarity.

The night dazzled with vibrant cultural performances. A soulful prayer song and a graceful prayer dance set a spiritual tone, followed by a powerful performance by the school band IGKNITES.
A major highlight was the Dance Drama titled “The Journey of Loyola,” which captured the school’s inspiring evolution through evocative storytelling and expressive dance.
The most anticipated moment arrived with the announcement of Miss Loyolean of the Year 2024–25, awarded to Kumud Goswami, in recognition of her academic excellence, leadership, and character.
In her vote of thanks, principal Ohson expressed heartfelt gratitude to teachers, parents, students, and especially Fr. Gerry D’Souza, whose unwavering support and leadership ensured the event’s success.
The celebration concluded with the uplifting candle song and the Loyola anthem, leaving the audience inspired and reaffirming the school’s mission to nurture lights that will shine far beyond its walls.
