UditVani, Jamshedpur: Jharkhand government will soon make changes in the teachers’ appointment and transfer rules.
Amendments will beade in those rules which cause problems during appointment and transfer process.
After the revised rules, teachers will be appointed and transferred afresh. The School Education and Literacy Department has started taking initiatives in this regard.
The education department is also setting up separate committees for amending the rules.
The process of appointment of 26,001 assistant teachers of the state is going on.
The examinations have been completed and the result is withheld on the court’s instructions.
There seems to be some dispute in qualifying marks fixed for para teachers in the rules.
The candidates have challenged it. If there is a change in the qualifying marks, then the rules will be changed.
After appointments on 26,001 posts, recruitment will be done for 23,999 posts.
This year the state government will also appoint teachers in high schools. For this also the process of gathering vacancies has been started.
Besides this, in the teachers’ transfer rules, marks have been determined on the basis of priority set for inter-district transfer.
In this, different marks have been determined according to posting in the zone and age.
There is a provision for inter-district transfer of teachers suffering from incurable diseases.
Changes are being made in this. Apart from the teachers suffering from incurable diseases, their family members are also being included .
If the teacher’s husband or wife, children or parents are suffering from incurable diseases, then the said teacher will get the benefit of inter-district transfer. Alongwith this, priorities will also be changed for the transfer of women teachers.
