In view of infrastructure developmental activities in South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur and Ranchi divisions, railways has decided to change the timings of many trains and cancel some trains between January 5 and January 16.
Garden Reach, the Kolkata based headquarters of South Eastern Railways has issued a circular in this regard.
Change in timing of Vande Bharat Express :
Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express (20887) will depart Ranchi with a delay of 30 minutes at 5:40 am from January 7 to January 12.
Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express (20897) will depart from Howrah with a delay of 1 hour at 3: 35 pm on January 5.

Several trains on Tatanagar-Hatia and other routes will remain cancelled

The South Eastern Railways has appealed to the passengers to check the status of the train before travelling.
The railway zone has expressed regret for the disruption in train services.
