UditVani, Jamshedpur: In an effort towards promoting wellness and early diagnoses of common diseases, TMH is starting the Executive Health Check-up of all its employees and spouses in Jamshedpur at the TMH Health Check-up Centre, Sonari.
The centre will start functioning from August 26 and bookings will start from August 23.
The tests will be done as per the latest recommended clinical guidelines from International Agencies for the screening of cardiac disease, diabetes, and the common cancers like colorectal cancers (above 45 years), lung cancers (in smokers above 55 years), Breast Cancer Screening with Mammography (women above 40 years) and Cervical cancer screening with Pap Smear (women above 21 years).
All employees and spouses will be examined by a specialist Physician, Surgeon, Ophthalmologist (Eye), Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT) and Gynaecologist (for women). Dietician advice will be available for all.
All employees and spouses can prebook their slots up to 2 days in advance and give their fasting blood, urine, and stool (above 45 years) samples at TMH or any of the TMH Clinics collecting blood samples.
The employees and their spouses should remember that they must give their fasting samples and they can collect the sterile contains for urine and stool (above 45 years) before they come to these locations for their fasting blood samples.
During the Executive Health Check-up, ECG, Lung Function Test and X-Ray chest will be done for all. Those who are smokers will have to get their CT Thorax done at MTMH up to 2 days before the scheduled date of the Executive Health Check-up and come to the TMH Health Check-up Centre with their CT Thorax images and reports.
Based on the latest recommended clinical guidelines, the Executive Health Check-up will be done once every three years for those below 35 years, once every two years for those between 35-50 years of age, and annually for those above 50 years.
The project used the Agile Way of Working (AWOW) methodology to complete it within a defined timeframe with the involvement of a cross functional team from One IT, Procurement, Corporate Administration, Human Resource Management and TMH.
An end-to-end digital workflow is expected to provide a seamless experience showcases the use of digital technology for enhanced customer experience. While the booking can be done through the TMH Vishwas app, all findings and investigation reports will be also available on the TMH Vishwas app.
The launch of the phase 2 of the TMH Health Check-up centre marks the completion of one of the biggest wellness and possibly only one of its kind health check-up centres in the country today.
The phase 1 of the TMH Health Check-up was started in December 2020 with the start of the Annual Health Check-up of all contract employees of Tata Steel, Jamshedpur. Till date TMH has done over 1.1 Lakh health check-ups for contract workers at Jamshedpur.
