
UditVani, Ramgarh: At least one person was killed and 20 others sustained injuries when a bus carrying tribal devotees overturned in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh district on Saturday, police reported.
The accident took place on the Gola-Muri road near Harubera village, within the jurisdiction of the Barlanga police station. According to Anant Singh, the station in-charge, the bus was en route from Luguburu Hills in Bokaro district, a key religious site for the Santhali tribe, to Potka in Jamshedpur when the incident occurred.
Tragically, a woman was confirmed dead, while 20 others were injured in the mishap. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
