UditVani Jamshedpur : The administration of neighbouring Seraikela is observing National Road Safety Month wherein instructions have been given the operators of various petrol pumps to implement ‘No Helmet No Fuel’ norm.
The fuel outlets are also refusing petrol and diesels to cars driven by owners or their drivers without seatbelts.
The. National Road Safety Month kicked – off on January 1 and it will continue till January 31.
Under the campaign, as per the orders of District Transport Officer Girja Shankar Mahato, “No Helmet/Seatbelt No Fuel” was carried out at various petrol pumps of Seraikela today.
Alongwith District Transport Officer Girja Shankar Mahato, District Road Safety Manager Kundan Verma and Road Engineer Analyst Ashutosh Kumar Singh went around various fuel outlets to ensure implementation of the directive which is aimed at safety while travelling on road.
