UditVani, Kharsawan: In preparation for Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s visit to Kharsawan on January 1, the Seraikela-Kharsawan District Transport Officer (DTO) has announced comprehensive traffic restrictions. The Chief Minister will pay homage to the martyrs of the Kharsawan massacre at the Shahid Sthal, and special arrangements have been made to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.
Heavy Vehicles Banned on Key Routes
To prevent congestion and ensure safety during the Shahid Diwas observance, the district administration has imposed a complete ban on the movement of heavy commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, on the following routes:
Birsanagar Chowk to Korse Munda Chowk: No entry for heavy vehicles from 5 AM to 10 PM.
Aamdar to Birsa Munda Chowk: Traffic restrictions on heavy vehicles during the same time frame.
Sini to Plus Two High School Road in Kharsawan: Heavy vehicles will not be allowed.
Kuchai to Korse Munda Chowk and Rangaon to Korse Munda Chowk: Complete prohibition of heavy vehicle movement.
Exceptions and Purpose
All types of heavy vehicles, except buses, will be restricted during the specified hours. These measures aim to manage the increased pedestrian movement in the area, reduce traffic congestion, and prevent accidents during the event.
