Kaamya’s remarkable journey took her to some of the most challenging mountains across the globe. She has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mt. Elbrus in Europe, Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia, Mt. Aconcagua in South America, Mt. Denali in North America, Mt. Everest in Asia, and most recently, Mt. Vinson in Antarctica. On December 24, at 5:20 PM Chilean Standard Time, Kaamya reached the peak of Mt. Vinson, completing the prestigious Seven Summits Challenge alongside her father, Commander S. Karthikeyan. Their accomplishment has been widely celebrated, including by the Indian Navy.

Kaamya’s mountaineering journey began at the young age of seven when she embarked on her first trek in Uttarakhand. Her journey to the top of Mt. Everest at 16 was a testament to her resilience and determination.
