UditVani, Jamshedpur: Union Volleyball Tournament 2022-23 was inaugurated today (21.11.2022) at Volleyball Court, TML Sports Complex, Telco. Total 8 teams in 2 pool of Union category are participated in the event. In the first day, eight matches were played.
The First match of the day was played between Team Tata Prima and Team 4018. Team 4018 won the match by two straight sets 25:15 & 25-16.
The Second match of the day was played between Team 1613 and Team Signa. Team Signa won the match by two straight sets 25:12 & 25-14.
The Third match of the day was played between Team 2518 and Team 3118. Team 3118 won the match by two straight sets 25:09 & 25-09.
The Fourth match of the day was played between Team BS-IV and Team BS-VI. Team BS-VI won the match by two straight sets 25:09 & 25-06.
The Fifth match of the day was played between Team Tata Prima and Team 2518. In a closely fought match Team Prima players gave a tough fight but finally Team 2518 emerged victorious by 2-1 sets with score line 25:16, 19:25 & 15:13.
The Sixth match of the day was played between Team 1613 and Team BS-IV. Team BS-IV won the match by two straight sets 25:11 & 25-08.
The Seventh match of the day was played between Team 4018 and Team 3118. Team 4018 won the match by two straight sets 25:18 & 25-21.
The Eighth match of the day was played between Team Signa and Team BS-VI. Team Signa won the match by two straight sets 25:20 & 25-11.
Mr V N Singh, Head – Administration & Security, Tata Motors was the chief guest for the opening ceremony.
Mr. Gurmeet Singh, President and Mr. R K Singh, General Secretary of Tata Motors Workers Union, Mr. Rajat Singh, Head – Town Administration and other Senior Dignitary graced the occasion.
