Udit Vani , Jamshedpur: Five riders from Jamshedpur’s Bullet Club Road Melters completed an extraordinary journey to Arunachal Pradesh, culminating at the Bumla Pass on the India-China border. Standing at the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the riders proudly chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Jai Hind.
The group embarked on their journey from Jamshedpur at 4 a.m. on November 5. The team comprised five riders- Dhananjay Mahto, Devjyoti, Mukesh, Sudip, and Akash.
Four Days of Riding to Reach Arunachal Pradesh
The group completed the ride to Arunachal Pradesh in four days, covering significant distances each day. They rode from dawn to around 8 p.m., halting at hotels for the night. Meals were taken on the go. Equipped with helmets, gloves, boots, riding gear, and goggles, the riders ensured strict adherence to road safety measures.
Throughout the journey, club moderator Anand Kumar Sharma kept in touch with the riders over the phone to monitor their well-being.
Tourist Assistance at Bumla Pass
The riders explored various iconic locations in Arunachal Pradesh, including Tawang, Bomdila, Sela Pass, and Madhuri Lake. At the icy Bumla Pass, located at 15,200 feet, breathing challenges were prevalent due to the altitude. Displaying true camaraderie, the group used their oxygen cylinders to assist other tourists facing difficulties.
Pilgrimage on the Way Back
The mission of the ride was to promote *Road Safety* and the *Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao* campaign. On their return, the riders visited revered shrines, including the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati and Tarapith Temple, to seek blessings.
Grand Welcome in Jamshedpur
The team returned to Jamshedpur on the evening of November 17. Their journey ended with prayers at Pardih Kali Mandir, where moderator Anand Kumar Sharma and Mukesh Sharma greeted them and celebrated their remarkable achievement.
This ride exemplified not only the spirit of adventure but also a commitment to social causes, patriotism, and safety on the road.
