Udit Vani Jamshedpur : A Mango resident – Rajeev Chandra Trivedi- sustained serious injuries after unknown miscreants attacked him with a sharp weapon late last night.

Immediately after the incident, the local people took the injured Rajiv to Tata Main Hospital, where his condition was stated to be critical.
According to doctors, the victim sustained serious injuries at several places across his body.
Cause of quarrel :
According to the information , there was a dispute regarding demand for chewing tobacco . This minor argument turned into a violent fight and the unknown miscreant attacked Rajiv with a sharp weapon.
Police action :
On receiving the information, Ulidih police station reached the spot and started investigation. Police interrogated injured Rajeev in the hospital. Ulidih police station in-charge said that efforts are on to identify the culprits and they will be arrested soon.
Panic in the area :
After this incident, there is an atmosphere of fear and anger among the local people. Police have tightened security arrangements by increasing patrolling in the area.
Rajeev Chandra Trivedi was a former employee of Tata Steel. He has also worked with Ranchi Express for some time. Due to his social standing this incident has sparked widespread discussion in the area. Police assured that the incident is under investigation.
