UditVani, Jamshedpur : Dance and musical performances by various tribal groups- Hajon g, Rabha, Baigan and Neigi would be the centre of attraction at Samvaad the ongoing tribal conclave at Gopal Maidan in Bistupur, today.
The tribal musical performance – Sounds of Jharkhand – would also witness performance by a local tribal group.
The fourth day’s events began with Adivasiyat Ka Arth – showcasing the tangible development of tribals.
There was a session on ” Niche for Tribal Health Systems in Contemporary Public Health.”
There was another session on tribal culinary and dishes.
The other highlights of today’s programme included 100 recipes from 30 tribal groups, display of 31 art forms by 117 artisans from 28 tribes.
There is a special session lined up today wherein 183 expert healers from 38 different tribes would participate.
The concluding day tomorrow ( November 19) will begin with a session Earth Ke Liye Adivasiyat.
There will also be a session on creative tribal art and diagnosis through tribal ayurvedic medicines.
Another highlight of the concluding day would be declaration of Samvaad Fellows- 2024
The concluding day’s tribal musical extravaganza would include Konyak Baga, Abuj, Maria, Bedo and Tamag tribes jazz.
There will also be a Nagpuri special band led by Nitesh Kachhap.
100th stalls are on display at Gopal Maidan carrying handmade products of tribal culture, art, including food that are made by nearly 100 tribal home cooks~
The 11th edition of Samvaad was inaugurated at Gopal Maidan on November 15.
The annual tribal conclave kicked off with the unveiling of java by senior member of tribal community and Tata Steel, followed by reverberating sounds of 401 nagadas, representing 22 tribes across Jharkhand and Odisha.
