Uditvani Jamshedpur : Children’s Day was celebrated with much fanfare at the Loyola School in Telco today.
The participation of teachers made the celebration even more special. The day was full of laughter, entertainment and education for the children.
A special fun program was also organized for all the students by their teachers.
The program started with a beautiful prayer song led by the principal of the school, Charanjit Osan .
Rich floral tributes was paid to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru during the celebration.
Children’s Day is celebrated every year on November 14 to mark the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
The day is meant for children and their rights, reflecting on the importance of education, health, and well-being.
On this occasion, Father Jerry, Father Pius, Father Gautam and school co-ordinators Reshma Rodrigues and Jeanette Maria Sundi were present.
Father Jerry addressed the students and spoke on the importance of Children’s Day and made them aware of their education, values and contribution to the society.
The programmes featured teachers acting as students, presenting a drama and putting on a wonderful show of entertainment through prayer songs, welcome songs, dance performances, poetry recitals, face-off events and live band performances.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the programmes which showcased the creativity of the teachers and got the opportunity to see their teacher from a new perspective.
At the end vote of thanks was proposed by Diksha and Lakshya.
