Ferro Alloys Plants (FAP) and mines under FAMD were celebrated for their exemplary safety practices during the performance year 2023. Notable recognitions included:
Platinum Category: FAP Athagarh, FAP Jajpur, and Joda West Iron and Manganese Mines.
Gold Category: FAP Bamnipal, FAP Jajpur, and Saruabil Chromite Mine.

The awards were presented by Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, in the presence of Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of the Kingdom of Lesotho. Thakur Ajay Kumar Vishwambharnath, Head of Safety (Mines), received the honors on behalf of the company.
Expressing gratitude, Pankaj Satija, Executive-In-Charge (FAMD), remarked, “We have always believed in sustaining a safe workplace for everyone, including our contract workers. These awards bring additional responsibility to all of us to further enhance our focus on safety, health, and well-being.”
