UditVani, Jamshedpur : Tata Steel Zoological Park celebrated a significant milestone today with the inauguration of the home of antelopes (Blackbuck and Nilgai).
The enclosure was officially inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President Corporate Services, Tata Steel, and President, Tata Steel Zoological Park.
The newly constructed enclosure is a part of Tata Zoo commitment to providing enriched habitats for its animal residents, promoting conservation, and enhancing the visitor experience.
Spread across a sprawling area, the enclosure has been meticulously designed to mimic the natural habitat of Blackbucks and Nilgais, offering them a safe and comfortable environment.
The enclosure features a variety of naturalistic elements, including grassy meadows, shaded areas, and a secure yet open design that allows visitors to observe the animals in a serene environment.
The event also witnessed participation from members of the Tata Steel Zoological Society, zoo staff, and media personnel.
Speaking on the occasion, Chanakya Chaudhary said, “Tata Steel Zoological Park has always been at the forefront of wildlife conservation and education.
The inauguration of the Blackbuck and Nilgai enclosure is another step in our efforts to create awareness about the need to protect and conserve wildlife.
