Uditvani: XLRI Delhi-NCR celebrated its 4th Annual Convocation Ceremony at its Jhajjar campus in Haryana, marking a significant chapter in the institute’s mission to shape responsible and future-ready leaders.
The event saw 221 students awarded diplomas, with 178 graduating from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Business Management (PGDM-BM) and 43 from the Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (PGDM-IEV).
Bhargav Dasgupta, Vice President (Market Solutions) at the Asian Development Bank, Manila, graced the occasion as chief guest and delivered an inspiring convocation address.
Highlighting the importance of responsible leadership and innovation, he encouraged graduates to stay grounded in values while embracing change and global opportunities.
In a special moment, Dasgupta was honored with the prestigious Fr. E. Abraham Medal for Management & Industrial Development for his outstanding contributions to the industry.
Fr. K. S. Casimir, Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR, emphasized the deeper significance of the convocation, calling it “a celebration of purpose, perseverance, and potential.”
He praised the graduating batch as carriers of the XLRI legacy, confident they will lead with clarity, compassion, and conviction.
The convocation also celebrated academic excellence with several awards presented to outstanding students.
From the PGDM-BM batch, Ishaan Shekhar was named Best All-round Student, Divija Maddela received the Medal for Highest CQPI among Women Students, and Arpan Roy was awarded the Medal for Highest CQPI – BM.
In the PGDM-IEV cohort, Akash Subramanian was recognized as the Best All-round Student, while Sree Manjari Gumireddy received the Medal for Highest CQPI – IEV.
This year’s placement season reflected rising employer confidence, with 591 students from both campuses participating in the recruitment process.
Over 172 recruiters extended more than 600 domestic and two international offers. Sectors such as consulting, BFSI, FMCG, technology, and e-commerce showed strong presence, while 34.17% of the cohort received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).
The event concluded with the awarding of diplomas and medals, marking a proud and defining moment for the graduates and the XLRI community.
With a strong foundation in ethical leadership and innovation, the Class of 2025 is poised to make meaningful contributions across industries and geographies.
