UditVani, Jamshedpur : With the upcoming Jagannath Rath Yatra set to begin from the Andhra Bhakta Sri Ram Mandir in Bistupur, the district administration has intensified preparations to ensure a peaceful and well-organized event.
Led by Dhalbhum SDO Gautam Kumar, a high-level administrative team inspected key sites and the entire yatra route on Wednesday.
The inspection aimed to address logistical challenges, streamline traffic management, and reinforce safety arrangements.
The Rath Yatra scheduled tomorrow, June 27 will commence at 3 PM and proceed from Bistupur Ram Mandir via Bistupur Main Road, Jusco office, and Keenan Stadium, culminating near the JNAC office in Sakchi.
Special arrangements include:
* Lifting low-hanging electric wires
* Pruning trees along the route
* Traffic diversions and
* Police deployment at all major junctions
Religious Trust Board member Jami Bhaskar expressed confidence in the administration’s commitment, calling this year’s Rath Yatra not only a well organized event but potentially grand and historic.
