UditVani, Jamshedpur : Tension gripped the city after Karni Sena’s National Vice President, Vinay Singh, was brutally murdered near Baliguma in the Mango police station area.
The gruesome killing has sparked outrage across the city, with members of the Karni Sena and the Kshatriya community taking to the streets in protest.
The agitation is intensifying as demonstrators demand the immediate arrest of the culprits.
In light of the incident, Karni Sena’s national president, Raj Singh Shekhawat, arrived in Jamshedpur today.
He first attended Vinay Singh’s funeral and offered condolences to the grieving family.
Following which he led hundreds of supporters to the SSP Office in Jamshedpur.
Protesters raised slogans and blocked the main gate of the SSP Office. Raj Singh Shekhawat himself was sitting on a dharna (sit-in protest) in front of the SSP Office, while many from the Kshatriya community continued their protest on the streets.
To control the situation, heavy police deployment has been made, but tension continues to prevail in the area. Protesters are demanding swift police action and the immediate arrest of those responsible, warning that the agitation could escalate if their demands are not met.
So far, the administration has not provided any concrete assurance, further aggravating the situation.
